The Wichita Barbarian Rugby Football Club is proud to announce that they won their first Rugby Western Regional Championship this past weekend Omaha, NE. Our next destination is the National Sweet 16 Tournament in Chula Vista, CA on May 12th. We are asking for your support as we undertake this next step towards a National Championship. If you are able to, please feel free to help in the following ways:
1. A tax deductable donation made to the Wichita Rugby Foundation. The Foundation EIN is 48-1226899. Also, many corporations (i.e. Cessna/Textron) will 100% match donations to 501(c)(3) organizations such as the Wichita Rugby Foundation.
2. Advertising with the WBRFC. For $500 we will add your company logo to our home pitch scoreboard for all to see during home matches.
3. Buy raffle tickets for a one of a kind autographed rugby ball. Pictured below, this ball is signed by the 2004 New Zealand All Blacks Tri-Nations Team and includes signatures from world level greats like: Dan Carter, Richie McCaw, Tana Umaga, Jerry Collins, and Joe Rokocoko. Tickets are $5 each and the drawing will be held at the Alumni Banquet on May 19th.
